Construction is entering a decisive decade. Every decision made today shapes not only projects and productivity, but the safety, health, and sustainability of tomorrow’s worksites. Strengthening occupational safety and health, advancing Vision Zero, and responsibly integrating new technologies such as artificial intelligence are essential to creating construction environments that are safe, sustainable, and future-ready.
Against this backdrop, the International Section of the International Social Security Accossiation (ISSA) on Prevention in the Construction Industry (ISSA Construction) convenes the XXXIInd Global ISSA Construction Conference, taking place from 2 to 3 July 2026 in Limassol, Cyprus, at the Carob Mill.
Under the guiding theme “From Risk to Resilience: Achieving Vision Zero with AI and Sustainable Construction”, the conference creates space for strategic dialogue at the highest level and invites participants to reflect on how Vision Zero, artificial intelligence, and sustainable approaches can reinforce prevention, strengthen resilience, and support lasting change in the construction environment.
This international conference will serve as an international meeting point for experts, researchers, and stakeholders who share a common conviction: that zero harm is achievable when innovation, prevention, and responsibility work together.
